(WDNews) — A high-speed chase on Highway 84 that ended in a crash near Sage Road was initiated by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), according to officials.</p><p>The pursuit began Thursday before 11 A.M. as ALEA attempted to stop a vehicle. The vehicle traveling on the wrong side of the highway at a high rate of speed. A female driver had her hands out the window, while the male passenger controlled the steering and prevented her from stopping.
