<div>LEONARDVILLE — The Concordia High School cross country team travelled to Leonardville for the massive 20 school Riley County Invitational, with a top 15 finish in one of the races.For the boys’ team, freshman Daniel Reedy was the fastest Panther, finishing in 84th place out of 112 with a time of 23:55.83. Sophomore Alex Gallardo finished close behind him in 87th place, with a time of 24:08.32.Jacob Bircher of Southeast of Saline finished first individually with a time of 17:28.32;Southeast of Saline finished first as a team with 45 points, with four of the five qualifiers finishing in the top 10.For the girls’ team, sophomore Hannah Bridwell was the fastest Panther, finishing 15th out of 73 with a time of 22:55.70. Freshman Ashlynn James finished in 22nd place with a time of 23:51.33. Senior Aubrey Stahlman finished 45th with a time of 26:31.53Payton Wurtz of Wabaunsee finished first individually with a time of 19:34.86.Southeast of Saline finished first as a team with 37 points, with all five runners finishing in the top 20, with four in the top 10.The cross country team will next race at the North Central Kansas League meet in Rock Creek, Thursday October 17, with a 4:00 p.m. start time.</div>
