Caitlin Clark cemented herself as one of the best players in the WNBA during her rookie season with the Indiana Fever. Following a historic year with the Fever, Clark was named to the First Team All-WNBA.

Clark joined Breanna Stewart, Napheesa Collier, A'ja Wilson and Alyssa Thomas on the first team. The Second Team All-WNBA included Sabrina Ionescu, Kahleah Copper, Nneka Ogwumike, Arike Ogunbowale and Jonquel Jones.

After the WNBA's announcement, Las Vegas Aces guard Kate Martin sent a message to Clark.

Martin, who was teammates with Clark at the collegiate level with the Iowa Hawkeyes, reposted the WNBA news, attaching a short message that said: "Congrats, boo."

Martin played her rookie season with the Aces and averaged 2.6 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 0.9 assists per game. She played an average of 11.5 minutes for the defending WNBA champions and shot 30.7% from the field.

Clark, on the other hand, led the Fever to their first playoff appearance since 2016.

The rookie helped lead Indiana to a 20-20 record as a starter, listed as the No. 6 team in the WNBA standings. Clark averaged 19.2 points, 8.4 assists and 5.7 rebounds per game.

During her historic rookie season with the Fever, Clark earned a couple of league-wide records. She had the most assists in a single game in WNBA history with 19, the most three-pointers by a rookie in a single season with 122, and the most assists by a rookie in a single season with 337.

Many of these accolades are why Clark was named the WNBA Rookie of the Year and made the WNBA All-Star game roster.
