BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin sailing team qualified two sailors for the ICSA Singlehanded Nationals for the first time in program history. Sophomores Michelangelo Vecchio and Rebecca Schill earned at-large selections to compete on the national stage in Saint Petersberg, Florida on November 9-10. Vecchio is the first Bowdoin sailor to ever qualify for the Open Singlehanded Nationals. The sophomore finished fifth at the NEISA Championships and was selected by committee for an at-large bid.
