<body><div><figure><img src="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?type=thumbnail_580x000&amp;url=0Owg8L_0wBrX1ZM00" alt="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=0Owg8L_0wBrX1ZM00" width="1024" height="1024" ></figure>ARCADIA, LA – Ruby Brantley, 23, of Minden has died from injuries sustained in an October 11, 2024 wreck on Interstate 20 near Arcadia (Bienville Parish).According to a preliminary Louisiana State Police report, the wreck happened about 3 p.m. on the interstate west of Louisiana 9.The preliminary investigation revealed that a 2006 Ford Fusion, driven by Brantley, was traveling west on Interstate 20. For reasons still under investigation, the vehicle exited the roadway and entered a ditch, where it began overturning.Brantley, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle and suffered severe injuries. She was transported to a local hospital for treatment.Troop G was notified that on October 13, 2024, Brantley had succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased.This crash remains under investigation.Editor’s Note: Preliminary Arkansas State Police fatality reports sometimes contain information that turns out to be inaccurate.
