Securement Silo EX1 might have the same name, but it’s a bit different. Here’s how to complete Securement Silo EX1 in The Way of Winter. <h2>How to clear Securement Silo EX1</h2>Starting out, you’ll notice that instead of Deviants, we have Rosetta soldiers to fight. While this is an obvious difference, the rest remains the same. This does make it feel like the events we’re experiencing now are before the events in the Manibus scenario. (There’s time travel, too?)Anyway, head to the elevator and head down into the cells of EX1. <figure><img src="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?type=thumbnail_580x000&amp;url=1X98Cs_0wBsSJyt00" alt="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=1X98Cs_0wBsSJyt00" width="1200" height="675" ><figcaption>Screenshot by Destructoid</figcaption></figure>You’ll enter the same room with all the enemies as before, but this time it’s filled with Rosetta, including a Rosetta Mechanic. Clear out the room and pick up the Rosetta Mechanic’s loot, which is a V3 Access Card. As you enter the room, there’s a set of double doors to your immediate left — collect the loot in there first. Now you have two options, you can either take the shortcut or go down the stairs. The shortcut is in the first room to your right as you enter the room, but you’ll need a grenade or Unstable Bomber to open the way. <figure><img src="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?type=thumbnail_580x000&amp;url=3JTBKy_0wBsSJyt00" alt="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=3JTBKy_0wBsSJyt00" width="1200" height="675" ><figcaption>Screenshot by Destructoid</figcaption></figure>Otherwise, you can head to the far side of the room to exit with the V3 Access Card you picked up. It doesn’t make much of a difference which way you go. If you don’t take the shortcut, remember to collect the loot hidden behind cell A009 on the bottom floor. <figure><img src="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?type=thumbnail_580x000&amp;url=1gseUG_0wBsSJyt00" alt="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=1gseUG_0wBsSJyt00" width="1200" height="675" ><figcaption>Screenshot by Destructoid</figcaption></figure>Now head through the hallway on the western edge of the top floor (same route as in the last scenario) to find the next room.In this room, you’ll notice that the portal isn’t where it used to be. It’s hidden behind the locked cell door of B023, so you’ll need to find the switch on the top floor and open all the cells to go through the portal. <figure><img src="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?type=thumbnail_580x000&amp;url=1SvAZ0_0wBsSJyt00" alt="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=1SvAZ0_0wBsSJyt00" width="1200" height="675" ><figcaption>Screenshot by Destructoid</figcaption></figure>You’ll find yourself in the old boss room, but you can’t attack the boss this time. Instead, you’ll need to defeat the enemies here and also find a switch on both the top and bottom floors to open all of the cell doors.
