The shakers looked like they were made up of glass and had ridges at the bottom. "See these ridges down here?" the woman said as she pointed at the circle at the bottom of a pepper shaker. "This is the proper way to use a salt and pepper shaker," she said as she turned the shaker upside down and rubbed the pepper shaker's ridges with the salt shaker's ridges in a circular motion. The video received more than 1.5 million views and over 96k likes. People took to the comments section to express their thoughts on the method. @theipaz commented, "Somehow, I don't think that's the right way. but thanks for sharing."
