Izaak Walton League Manager Donny Ingle says the event brings families to their 40-acre site.</p><p>“We partner with Jasper County Conservation and have skits, music, kids hayrack ride, smores, we roast hot dogs and have face painting. It’s a really good turnout event.” </p><p>Ingle says the Izaak Walton League hosts several events for kids to expose youth to the great outdoors. Many are done in partnership with Jasper County Conservation. Tonight’s Halloween hike is free, but donations to the Jasper County Conservation Department would be appreciated. Again, the last hour-long hike leaves at 8:00 p.m. The skits will be performed by members of the Newton Community Theatre and are from their recent production of “The Sound of Music.” </p></div></body>
