Bills' Amari Cooper Reacts To Trade With 3-Word Response

    By Adam Schultz,

The NFL is a forever-changing machine, and with the trade deadline still open, the Buffalo Bills made the move to Cleveland Browns Pro Bowler Amari Cooper .

Such is the nature of the business; Cooper had to hop in the car and drive to Buffalo, to which he stated there was "a lot to think" during the drive. Now, he's in a new city with new teammates and has to learn a new system.

Given it's Week 7, there isn't too much time for Cooper to get settled, and he's still getting used to the idea of being a Bill.

"I'm still taking it all in a little bit,” Cooper said . “Getting traded in the middle of the season, it's definitely a fast turnaround, so I don't know if I've had enough time to really process it, but at the end of the day, it's just football.”

Cooper is right; it is just football, and that is part of being an NFL player, but no one can doubt that he's going to a better situation with Buffalo striving for Super Bowl glory.

Amari will now be part of Joe Brady's offense and with the "everybody eats" mantra filling the locker room. Cooper, who has only had more than four receptions in a game just once this season, in theory, should fit right in.

Buffalo is hoping the trade for Cooper will give their offense, which averages 27.5 points per game (ranks seventh), another injection of speed and precise route running to pair with Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, Dalton Kincaid, and Mack Hollins.

But Cooper needs to get settled in his new city first, and with Josh Allen and Co. aiming to help him adjust quickly, Amari might be on the field sooner rather than later.
