Plus, it looks a lot like styles at Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus that are almost 22 times the price.
Walmart’s best-selling Sofia Jeans Women's and Women's Plus Size Faux Wrap Ruffle Trim Skirt Dress is $32 and it’s easy to see why it has almost 5 stars. As its name suggests, it has the look of a wrap dress—a dress that you tie closed around the waist—but it’s a faux wrap meaning that you don’t have to worry about twisting or having it fall open. The side with the tie for the faux wrap has a ruffle trim on the hem that goes all the way around the dress.
Because of the wrap style, the dress has a v-neck plus billowing sleeves that come together at the cuffs. It has a “satin-like sheen” to the fabric, which is made up of 98% polyester and 2% spandex. It’s a mid-length dress so it should fall to about your mid-calf. This Sofia Jeans dress comes in three colors—Cerise (hot pink), Black Soot and June Bug (emerald green)—and in sizes XS to 5X and is a major hit with plus-size wearers.
Plus-size expert and NYC-based influencer @stylishcurves posted about this dress on Oct. 2, along with other Walmart fall finds and wrote, “Can you believe I found these fall trends in plus sizes on @walmartfashion?” One reviewer even wrote, "So great I bought a second!"

Another shopper wrote that it was the “perfect wedding guest dress,” saying that the green is a “very vibrant rich” color. They also noted that the “wrap is very flattering.”
“I find it true to size, I'm wearing a 2x which is a lil bit big but it comes with a belt so you can cinch the waist in as needed,” they wrote. “Good length and flowy."
And lastly, one reviewer wrote that “Sofia Vergara did us plus girlies RIGHT.”

It has that satin look too, but is made with 100% polyester.
Walmart’s Sofia Jeans faux-wrap dress is also similar to the Zimmermann Silk Wrap Midi Dress , which is $695 at Neiman Marcus. It’s almost exactly the same with the neckline, ruffle trim that follows the hem up to where it ties and the billowy sleeves with cuffs. It falls below the knee and is made of silk, plus it comes in the colors black and sand.
