An EF-3 tornado tore through Daviess County, leaving a trail of destruction.</p><p>According to the National Weather Service in Paducah, the storm system also unleashed two F-2 tornadoes in southern Illinois. These tornadoes traveled a combined 23 miles, damaging homes and overturning vehicles. One tornado passed near the Lake of Egypt, south of Marion, IL, where mobile homes were destroyed. Another caused injuries after a semi-truck overturned along Interstates 57 and 24.</p><p>The storms were accompanied by large hail and powerful winds, prompting the issuance of over 130 warnings.
