Charlotte’s consignment shops are popular, focusing on high-end goods and upscale fashion. There are also some that specialize in antiques, vintage, and home decor.     The Brass Grasshopper , formerly known as Antique Alley, is the oldest antique shop in the Charlotte area, having been in business for 30 years. It might be the best place in the area to find antiques and vintage, and they also sell local goods.

    In stock are vintage clothing, furniture, books, trinkets, and more. Local vendors also sell here, so you’ll find even more treasures, including a shop that sells nothing but vinyl records.

    Clearing House is another home consignment option in Charlotte. Open since 1987, they offer a variety of fine home furnishings and antiques. You’ll find furniture, antiques, rugs, crystal, china, paintings, and other accessories for your home.

    If you have your eye on a piece and it doesn’t sell in 30 days, they reduce the price by 15%, another 15% after 60 days, and again at 90 days, so patience could pay off! You’ll want to stop by Clearing House more than once to see what’s new.

    Divine Consign is a lovely high-end consignment store that sells gently used designer clothes, prom dresses, jewelry, shoes, handbags, and home decor. You can view their inventory and shop online as well.

    Some brands you might see here are Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Yves Saint Laurent, Burberry, and Chanel. These designer labels can be bought at a great price at Divine Consign.

    Another great option for designer goods is Hush Consignment at the Arboretum. Some high-end labels you might see here are Chanel, Coach, Oscar De La Renta, Balenciaga, Tiffany’s, and Prada.

    Sardis Marketplace has 60-plus vendors and local artists in a 20,000-square-foot space, so you’ll want to give yourself some time to browse this place. You might even want to sign up for one of their after-hours painting classes or another event.

    Shoppers will find home decor, jewelry, clothing, antiques, gifts, and consignment items. The owner is a dog lover, so your well-behaved and leashed pet is also welcome! Consignors here get 60% of the selling price and vendors take home 70%.

    Sleepy Poet is loaded with all kinds of unique and off-the-wall goods.
