Over the course of four intense weeks, students transformed their designs into tangible projects, pushing their creative limits. For Mayar and Zanli, the challenge only intensified their focus, leading to late nights spent sketching and refining their ideas.Their hard work paid off with impressive results. Mayar Badi secured first place, achieving a remarkable second consecutive victory in the individual category. Zanli Morris earned the People's Choice Award for a project that exemplified innovative design.Both students delivered captivating presentations, underscoring the high standards upheld by the Guthrie Center Architecture program. Their work demonstrated not only technical proficiency but also a deep understanding of architectural principles and effective communication of their visions.In addition to their individual successes, 16 Guthrie students had the opportunity to attend the 85th Annual Conference and Design Expo in Houston.
