She said that she randomly scans products on the Walmart app to check the offer price. "As I'm walking, I see those Rice Krispie treats up there. It has a Christmas tree. I'm pretty sure these are gonna be like really cheap because of Christmas it's 75% off," Alex said. She then scanned the box of 32 mini squares and the app showed $1.62, whereas the store's checkout price was higher. Alex insisted her followers scan anything with Christmas theme packaging because, after the holidays, they might probably be on sale. "If you just randomly see it out of place, scan it with the Walmart app," she said. The small one with 10 bars costs $1.78, a pack of 24 costs $3.84 and the biggest one marketed as a 'value pack' costs $6.47.
