I am not a farmer or rancher but I imagine without venturing too far the feds are going to run into some resistance . By the way we are here to fine you for repairing your own tractor. I smell Gun powder coming out to resolve this issue. A cattle rancher and wheat field farmer with several thousand acres is going to run these feds off his or her property at the end off a firearm if necessary. Now The feds and the John Deere owners have gone a little too far. Anything beyond this the consumers are going to fight back tuff. Another example of everyone in America needs to own a firearm and know how to use it.

The issue is John Deere sold farm equipment KNOWING they needed FIRMWARE (electronic boards), Software and hardware Technicians BUT they couldn't because Techs were paid on systems repaired ( hourly rate, minimum of 4 hrs for onsite calls) AND the farmers couldn't afford to be down for a day while waiting for a tech - IF the farmer or anyone associated as John Deere support, made a fix it nullified the Warranty leaving the farmer to pay out of pocket for the full cost of support! John Deere discovered farmers refurbishing old tractors in order to keep the farm going!!
