At Costco , there’s always a little something for everybody. The popular bulk retailer makes it their business to satisfy customers of all walks of life, including those who like to stick to a clean , animal free diet . Contrary to popular belief, Costco’s food court does not house the only good eats available in the warehouse, and there’s a new “next level” item on the block that's jockeying for your attention.

“Finally a vegetarian option,” one commenter wrote in response to a video shared only by costcodeals showing the popular bulk-retailer's latest grab-and-goItalian offering.

Polenta with Roasted Vegetables have officially begun to arrive at warehouses across the country, and fans are ecstatic about the new vegetable-forward option. And in response to the question asked: “have you tried it yet,” one commenter quickly replied, “It’s in the oven right now! I’m adding some leftover bacon on top.”

If you haven’t tried polenta before, it’s a classic Italian dish made of boiled cornmeal and sometimes other grains as well. It can be cooled and turned into a loaf that can then be baked, fried or grilled, depending on the recipe. Yellow maize, buckwheat, white maize and mixtures of each are regularly used to make polenta.

The popular new offering is an herb-based parmesan polenta topped with roasted sweet potatoes, mushrooms, parsnips, bell peppers, broccoli, purple potatoes and parmesan cheese. Customers can find 3-pound containers for $12.19, hopefully for the duration of the fall season as this would make the perfect appetizer for a fall get-together or an easy family dinner.

If you end up picking a container up for yourself, you’ll want to heat it up before serving. Simply preheat the oven to 400°F and remove the plastic lid from the container. Place the tray onto the center rack of the oven and bake for 40 minutes, or until the middle is heated thoroughly.
