Reese's is just about ready to launch a savory, crunchy new way to enjoy the rich and nutty flavor of the fan-favorite treat—but it won't be found in the candy aisle.

The Hershey's brand of chocolate-covered peanut butter cups is expanding its presence in the snack aisle with Reese's peanut butter-filled pretzels. In November, the new offering will hit shelves, according to a joint statement from the National Association of Convenience Stores and Hershey's shared with food blogger CandyHunting .

The peanut butter-filled pretzels will join Reese's Dipped Animal Crackers and its dipped pretzels that debuted at the 2024 National Association of Convenience Stores ( NACS ) convention in Las Vegas earlier this month.

While the combination of Reese's PB and crunchy pretzel sounds like a sure-fire win, many fans were left somewhat disappointed by the decision to forgo the candy's chocolate coating when developing this latest recipe.

"They should have dipped these in chocolate!!" one replied to the Oct. 17 upload.

"And now we need a chocolate covered version *and* a peanut butter coated version," another popular foodie known on Instagram as Snackolator urged. "If that's not too much to ask. :)."

"I guess I’m just meh about this announcement only because peanut butter pretzel nuggets have existed for a long time," a different disappointed user shared.

Still, many defended the release, saying they'll "try anything Reese's" and even suggesting the lack of chocolate was something to be celebrated, with one declaring them "Perfect!"

"Chocolate gives me GERD," the fan added. "So I’m down for these! Love a salty sweet combo!!"

Luckily, there were several more innovative products unveiled at this year's showcase, including a few from Reese's—like the Reese's Lava Big Cup King Size and protein bars—as well as an all-new flavor of Butterfinger , new versions of Kit Kats , a Canadian staple Lay's chip flavor , canned energy drinks from Starbucks and the return of a fan-favorite M&Ms variety .
