The high school football season is in full-swing across the country. Notre Dame commits have been impressive thus far, putting up big numbers and helping lead their high school teams. Here is an update on how the Irish commits have been playing and when they will be back in action under the lights.
Noah Grubbs, Quarterback (2026)
Opponent: @ Evans
Time: 7:00 PM ET
Lake Mary (Fla.) and Noah Grubbs are coming off a big 29-14 win over rival Seminole. Grubbs completed 17 of his 36 passing attempts for 226 yards and 2 touchdowns in the victory. Lake Mary moves to 5-2 on the season and will travel to Evans this Friday.
Blake Hebert, Quarterback
Opponent: vs. Phillips Academy
Time: 3:00 PM ET
Recently committed Blake Hebert and Brunswick (Conn.) are coming off a 35-7 win over Suffield Academy. Through 3 games played, Hebert has completed 34 of 60 pass attempts for 593 yards, 5 touchdowns, and 4 interceptions. He has also had 8 carries for 31 yards and 4 touchdowns. The 5-0 Brunswick Bruins will host Phillips Academy this Saturday at 3:00 PM.
Justin Thurman, Running Back
Opponent: vs. Brandon
Time: 7:30 PM ET
Notre Dame commit Justin Thurman and Jesuit (Fla.) were unable to play this past Friday due to the hurricane. Up next, 3-3 Jesuit will host Brandon.
Elijah Burress, Wide Receiver
Opponent: vs. St. Peter's Prep
Time: 6:30 PM ET
DePaul Catholic (N.J.) and Elijah Burress are coming off a big 21-20 win over Don Bosco Prep. Burress continued to impress with 4 receptions for 132 yards and 2 touchdowns in the win. 6-0 DePaul Catholic will host St. Peter’s Prep this Thursday at 6:30.
Antavious Richardson, Wide Receiver
Opponent: @ Trion
Time: 7:30 PM ET
Greenville (Ga.) and Notre Dame commit Antavious Richardson last played at the end of September and beat Mt. Zion 37-35. Richardson was 3/6 for 54 yards passing, and had 11 rushes for 147 yards and 4 touchdowns on the offensive side of the ball. On defense, he had 9 total tackles including 1 tackle for loss. Greenville sits at 3-2 on the season and will travel to Trion this Friday.
Jerome Bettis Jr., Wide Receiver
Opponent: None

Woodward Academy (Ga.) and Jerome Bettis Jr. had a big win over Dunwoody this past Friday 49-17. Bettis has 2 interceptions on the season, 2 forced fumbles, 5 total touchdowns, and an average of 39 receiving yards a game. Woodward is 5-3 on the season and is off this week.
Dylan Faison, Wide Receiver (2026)
Opponent: @ Calvary Christian Academy
Time: 7:00 PM ET
St. Andrews (Fla.) and Faison are coming off a win against Somerset Academy Key 35-8. Faison had a monster night with 6 receptions for 152 yards and 3 touchdowns through the air. He also had 1 rush for 14 yards and a touchdown. 4-3 St. Andrews will travel to Calvary Christian Academy this Friday.
James Flanigan, Tight End
Opponent: vs. Oshkosh North
Time: 7:00 PM CT
Notre Dame Academy (Wis.) defeated Green Bay West 56-14. Flanigan had an impressive game with 3 catches for 69 yards, 2 touchdowns, 5 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and a forced fumble. Undefeated Notre Dame Academy will take on Oshkosh North this Friday.
Will Black, Offensive Lineman
Opponent: @ Hotchkiss School
Time: 3:00 PM ET
Notre Dame commit Will Black and Choate Rosemary Hall (Conn.) are coming off an impressive 52-3 victory over Taft School. Choate Rosemary is 4-0 on the season and will travel to Hotchkiss this Saturday.
Owen Strebig, Offensive Lineman

Time: 7 PM CT
Catholic Memorial (Wis.) is coming off a 27-0 loss to Wauwatosa East. Strebig and the Crusaders are 6-2 on the season and will take on Waukesha South this Friday.
Matty Augustine, Offensive Lineman

Matty Augustine and Brunswick (Conn.) are coming off a win over Suffield Academy 35-7. Brunswick is 5-0 on the season and will host Phillips Academy this Saturday.

Recent Notre Dame commit Cameron Herron and Warren Central (Ind.) beat Carmel 32-3 last Friday. Warren Central is 7-1 on the season and will take on Cathedral this Friday.
Christopher Burgess, Defensive Lineman

Chrisptopher Burgess and Simeon (Ill.) defeated Kenwood last Friday 22-20. Burgess had an impressive game with 11 total tackles, 3 of them tackles for loss, and 2 quarterback hurries. 6-1 Simeon will travel to Johnson this Saturday.
Dominik Hulak, Defensive Lineman
Opponent: vs Saint Viator
Time: 7:30 PM CT
IC Catholic Prep (Ill.) had a 40-6 victory over Marmion this past Friday. Hulak had 2 receptions for 40 yards and 2 touchdowns. IC Catholic Prep is 2-4 on the season and will take on Saint Viator this Friday.
Joseph Reiff, Defensive Lineman

Notre Dame commit Joseph Reiff and York (Ill.) beat Glenbard West this past Friday 24-14. York is 6-1 on the season and will take on Lyons this Friday.

St. Joseph’s Prep (Pa.) and Anthony Sacca beat Cardinal O’hara 35-14 this past Friday. St. Joseph’s Prep will host Roman Catholic this Saturday at 8.

Punahua (Hawaii) and Ko’o Kia got the win this past Friday against Kanehameha Kapalama 25-13. Kia and the 3-7 Punahua will take on St. Louis this Saturday.

Ethan Long, Safety

The Brunswick (Conn.) Bruins and Ethan Long beat Suffield Academy this past Friday 35-7. Through three games played, Long has 11 total tackles and 1 interception. The 5-0 Brunswick Bruins will take on Phillips Academy this Saturday at 3:00.
