92-Year-Old Woman's Body Found After Magee House Fire

A ninety two year old woman tragically passed away in a house fire in Magee on the night of Thursday, October 17th.

The fire broke out around 10:12 p.m. on Thursday night at a home on 8th Street. The scene was responded to by Simpson County deputies, Magee firefighters, and Covington County Ambulance Service.

According to WJTV, the woman who perished in the house fire has been identified as Annie Langston.

An investigation is being conducted by the State Fire Marshal's Office into the cause of the fire, as the cause is currently unknown.
