(WICS) — Springfield Police arrested two people on Thursday for multiple drug charges.Springfield Police Department Pro-Active Crime Unit obtained and served a search warrant in the 800 block of S. 25th Street.The following items were seized as a result of the search warrant: 15 grams of heroin/fentanyl, 23 grams of crack cocaine, 10 grams of cannabis, 4 grams of methamphetamine, digital scales, stun gun, and a Springfield Armory 911 pistol that had been reported stolen.Demarco Johnson, 35, was arrested for manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance and manufacture and delivery of cocaine.Johnson is out on bond for a 2021 and 2022 case of manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance and a 2021 case of aggravated fleeing and eluding.Also arrested wasRichard Simms III, 28. Simms was with Johnson at the time of the arrest. He was arrested for manufacture and delivery of heroin and manufacture and delivery of cocaine.Both Johnson and Simms are in custody at the Sangamon County Jail.</div></body>
