The Defense played a good game, helping the offense by causing four turnovers. Colton Thompson caught two interceptions, Ethan Stray added an interception, and Jackson Carr recovered a fumble. The Eagle offense would start quickly, scoring 20 points in the first quarter. Trevor McGuff would be the first Eagle to find the endzone on a 4-yard run. Ethan Stray would get a surge from the offensive line and score from 2-yards out. Leaving 1:39 left in the 1st quarter. The Mohawks would respond quickly in three plays and 31 seconds of game time, making the score 12-8 Eagles. Thanks to solid blocking and a run from Trevor McGuff on the kickoff, the Eagles would be set up in a great field position. Blake Carr would take the next handoff 24 yards across the goal line for a score. He would add the two-point conversion, taking up 19 seconds of game time. The score at the end of the first quarter was 20-8. Morley would go on a five-and-a-half minute drive and through a 7-yard touchdown pass. Making the score 20-14. Donovan would use an offensive line push to get the ball into the endzone; Blake Carr would add the 2-point conversion, providing a halftime score of 28-14 Eagles. The JV Eagles would get the ball to start the second half with the ball, and Trevor McGuff would score from 1-yard out. Blake Carr added the conversion, pushing the score to 36-14. Morley would score on a 26-yard pass, getting to their final score. The Eagles would respond with a 63-yard run from Blake Carr, and Colton Thompson would score the conversion, ending the scoring for the game with a score of 44-20 Kent City. The JV Eagles had to overcome sickness this week as well as being down a few players, but were able to come together and get a great team win. The JV team is 8-0(4-0) on the season. The JV team concludes their season next week on Thursday October 24th on the road taking a short drive north to Grant to take on the Tigers. </div></body>
