Former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler, 41, was arrested in Franklin, Tennessee, on Thursday night, facing charges of DUI, illegal possession of a firearm, and other offenses. Police responded to a minor traffic accident after Cutler rear-ended another vehicle. Officers at the scene reported smelling alcohol on Cutler, noticing slurred speech and bloodshot eyes.

He refused sobriety tests and was taken to a hospital, where a blood sample was obtained through a search warrant. Authorities found two firearms in his vehicle, one of which was loaded. Cutler was released on a $5,000 bond.
