He issued a warning for viewers to use sun protection after he revealed that he was previously diagnosed with <a href="https://www.the-sun.com/topic/skin-cancer/" rel="nofollow"> skin cancer </a> . The star was welcomed back into the <a href="https://www.the-sun.com/topic/good-morning-america/" rel="nofollow"> Good Morning America </a> studio with the likes of <a href="https://www.the-sun.com/who/michael-strahan/" rel="nofollow"> Michael Strahan </a> , 52. <nbtemplate data-id="AdPlaceholder" data-content="JTdCJTdE"></nbtemplate> “We started talking a little about it and so many people were interested in it. “[So] we thought we’d continue the conversation. There have been so many advancements in sun protection, sunscreen, laser treatments for pre-cancerous areas. “So I hope one day nobody has to go through surgery to get rid of skin cancer. “But now we have to keep an eye on our skin, our hands on our skin, be very vigilant, and notice any unusual spots.” He added, “And if those spots change, then get immediate care.” It has been only two weeks since Sam underwent surgery in the office of his dermatologist.
