Starkville Man Charged with Intimidating a Witness and More

On Thursday, October 17th, officers with Starkville Police Department charged a man with intimidating a witness, among other charges.

Davonte Ivy, age twenty six, of Starkville was arrested in connection with a report that was made to Starkville Police Department on September 27th, 2024. The report and the currently open investigation are in relation to a vehicle that was stolen.

According to a press release from Starkville Police Department, Ivy was charged with intimidating a witness, false reporting of a crime, and directing or causing a felony to be committed by a person under the age of seventeen (felony).

Ivy is currently in custody at the Oktibbeha County Jail.
