Southern Charm’s Patricia Altschul Had ‘Poopy’ Dog Moment With Actress Octavia Spencer

Patricia Altschul’s fabulous mansion has been the center of action on Southern Charm since Season 1. From fabulous parties to serious conversations, Patricia’s home is the perfect setting for the crew to hash out all their drama. Plus, it’s one of the ultimate Bravo pads we’d love to party at – while wearing caftans and drinking martinis, of course.

Patricia is no stranger to being the ultimate host on and off of Southern Charm. She’s had plenty of star-studded guests stop by her house for a drink and a chat. Most recently, it was Oscar-winning actress Octavia Spencer. However, it wasn’t all glitz and glam at Patricia’s abode that day.

Patricia Altschul knows Southern hospitality

The Southern Charm matriarch took to Instagram to share a hilarious snapshot of her hangout with Octavia. However, it definitely wasn’t a fabulous shot. Patricia revealed that while Octavia was at her house, a little accident occurred on the couch. Being that Patricia no longer has Michael to wait on her hand and foot, she had to handle it herself. And no, Octavia didn’t spill wine on Patricia’s sofa like Craig Conover . Only he’s made that mistake so far.

Patricia revealed that an accident with one of her dogs led to her cleaning dog poop off of Octavia’s white pants. She shared a photo of her cleaning the pants while Octavia is busting out laughing. “What not to do… Put your dog with a poopy tail on the sofa next to a famous Hollywood actress,” Patricia captioned the pic. She added hashtags like “good sport” and “love her” to let everyone know that Octavia wasn’t mad.

In the comments, Octavia continued her laughing fit with a few crying emojis and prayer hands. In the wild world of Southern Charm , there can’t be any experience quite like hanging out at Patricia’s house.
