Joe Locke opened up about his character’s big reveal in the recent episodes of Agatha All Along .

The 21-year-old Heartstopper actor was introduced on the show as a mysterious character who was only known as Teen due to a magical spell that concealed his identity.

Halfway into the season, it was finally revealed that Teen is a magical charactered named Wiccan whose real name is William Kaplan.

In the October 17 episode, it we learned that William Kaplan passed away in an accident, allowing Scarlet Witch ( Elizabeth Olsen )’s son Billy Maximoff to take over his body.

So, Wiccan is one of the Scarlet Witch and Vision ( Paul Bettany )’s twin sons, who we first met in WandaVision .

In a new interview, Joe discussed finally being able to share his character’s origin story. He also weighed in on his future in the franchise and speculation about the final episodes of Agatha All Along .

“It still feels like I’m breaking all the rules, but in a really good way,” Joe joked with Variety about finally being able to share his character’s story.

“After the 10th time someone’s like, ‘You’re playing Billy Maximoff,’ and I’m like, ‘Whaaat? No!’ — it gets easier,” he said about previously having to deny the fact. “But I saw loads of comments last week being like, ‘Worst kept secret ever. We all knew!’ It’s like, yeah, but I couldn’t f-cking say anything, could I? I still had to keep the secret!”

During the conversation, Joe addressed whispers that Billy was responsible for everything that is happening on the Witches’ Road. Is there any truth to the speculation?

“I saw that one, and I found it very interesting,” he said. “There’s some really good theories out there. There’s some really wacky ones too, but they’re also great.”

He continued, adding, “One of the best things about having a weekly release for such a secretive, complex show is the fan theories that come out of it. You see things like, ‘Oh, I’ve never even thought there would be a link to that. You’re so wrong, but I see why you think that!’”

He was also asked if we would see Billy’s twin brother Tommy before the show concluded.

“I can’t answer that,” he said. “Well, I know the answer, but I can’t tell you. There are still a few secrets in there.”

Is there a future for Billy in the Marvel Cinematic Universe ? Nothing is confirmed yet, but Joe addressed how he would balance a fourth season of his show Heartstopper with any MCU offers.

“My schedule is empty, so it makes it easy,” Locke says. “Whoever wants me first, gets me first. I’ve been so bored the last few weeks. I’ve been very busy the last few years, and this has been the quietest I’ve been pretty much since I got ‘Heartstopper.’ And I hate it. I’m like an overexcited child just locked inside a room.”

“My schedule is empty, so it makes it easy,” he said, noting that he was excited to get back to work. “Whoever wants me first, gets me first.”

Did you know that Agatha All Along star Kathryn Hahn made MCU history on the show?
