Vice President Kamala Harris' presidential campaign is doing everything it can to reach young male voters in the final weeks — and they have hit on a novel strategy.

According to Bloomberg's Josh Wingrove, the campaign has taken out ads on Yahoo Sports and the sports betting app DraftKings, showing pictures of Harris and running mate Tim Walz in the style of a lineup.

"STACK HARRIS/WALZ" the ads said, calling the pick "the strongest line up." One ad highlighted as "stats" the campaign promises of the ticket, including, "Will cut taxes for 100 million middle-class families" and "Will take on corporate landlords raising rent."

Ensuring strong turnout among young voters is a core part of the Harris campaign's strategy, alongside persuading moderate Republicans who are wavering against former President Donald Trump to switch sides. However, young voters, as with every other category, have seen an aggressive gender divide, with young women voting much more strongly Democratic than young men, necessitating more targeted outreach to that subgroup by the campaign.

Placing ads on sports betting sites is not the only unconventional way political strategists are trying to get less engaged voters to pay attention in the final weeks. Harris has given interviews on a series of large podcasts viewed by a typically less partisan and politically tuned-in audience, like Alexandra Cooper's "Call Her Daddy."

And some voter outreach has been even more creative. According to Slate, an independent political action committee has even been targeting ads on pornographic sites, warning visitors to these sites that Project 2025, the sweeping far-right Heritage Foundation blueprint for a new Republican administration, could curtail access to adult content online.
