Yavapai College is proud to announce the successful completion of its inaugural Vocational English as a Second Language (VESL) program, designed to empower individuals in the Hispanic community to achieve their commercial driver’s license (CDL). This innovative initiative, developed by CDL Instructor Alex Barber and VESL Program Designer Dawnette Polland, aims to bridge the language gap for non-English speakers pursuing vocational careers.
