According to News Week, More than 10,000 packages of cookies have been recalled after the presence of an undeclared allergen was discovered. In September, Hawaii-based KTM Services initiated a recall of its Enjoy Premium Coconut Cookies, available in 5.3-ounce and 17.7-ounce packages. The recall was prompted by the detection of milk, a major allergen, that was not disclosed on the product label. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has classified this recall as a Class I, the highest risk level.
