People who are fans of both Taylor Swift and The Simpsons say they didn’t realize they needed the latest video that Hank Azaria shared on social media —but boy are they happy to have it.

The actor—who voices several characters on the long-running animated comedy—recently decided to perform part of the pop star’s hit song “Anti-Hero” from her 2022 album Midnights . Naturally, Azaria did so in character— many characters, that is.

People who live in the fictional Simpsons town of Springfield “love Taylor Swift, too,” the 60-year-old voice actor explained before launching his 67-second video. He began by singing in the voice he uses for Moe, who plays the owner of Moe’s Tavern in the show, before moving on to Chief Wiggum. He sang a few lyrics in the voices of The Sea Captain, Professor Frink and Duffman before ending with Comic Book Guy, who added a small aside to Swift’s lyrics about “anti-heroes” by noting, “and I know about rooting for heroes.”

Azaria ended his video by declaring it was the “Worst cover ever.” But fans were quick to disagree.

“This is the best video I have ever seen,” one fan wrote on TikTok as another agreed, writing, “Best. Cover. Ever.”

“This man is a National Treasure. Thank you Hank for sharing your amazing talent with us! We’re not worthy 🙌🏼,” one TikToker praised.

“This is the internet we want,” a TikToker declared as another thanked Azaria for the video, writing, “I had no idea I needed this. 😅.”

Several people commented on some of the character decisions Azaria made in his performance, with one observing, “The added ‘there’ from Moe is 🤌✨chef’s kiss✨,” while another suggested, “i love this, hank, but surely it's ‘it's me, ahoy, i'm the problem, 'tis i.’”

“I don’t know why but I feel like comic book guy would be a huge swiftie 😂,” one Simpsons fan commented.
