Volunteers from the Larchmont Boulevard Association told the Buzz they are finalizing all the details for this year’s event.Look for more activities for young kids including a train that will run up and down the street. In addition to the usual rides and bounces there will also be carnival games, a food court, a smaller farmers market, and a beer garden.<figure><img src="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?type=thumbnail_580x000&amp;url=2mCGpr_0wCyS0IU00" alt="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=2mCGpr_0wCyS0IU00" width="1149" height="1347" ><figcaption>Carnival games will be located at the north end of the street near Beverly Blvd.</figcaption></figure>“This year, we are going to have food vendors near the Rotary clock, where you can also find the beer garden,” Melissa Farwell, chair of the Larchmont Family Fair told us. “A smaller version of the Sunday Farmers Market will be set up on the parking lot where we will also have tables and chairs so everyone can sit and enjoy the fair.”Audio Graph Beer Company, a microbrewery located in downtown LA, will be hosting the beer garden, thanks to an introduction from LBA Board member Brian Velasquez.“We are excited to have one of the owners participating at the fair,” said Velasquez.<figure><img src="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?type=thumbnail_580x000&amp;url=2QpQ1C_0wCyS0IU00" alt="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=2QpQ1C_0wCyS0IU00" width="1000" height="888" ></figure>Farwell and LBA Board member Romi Cortier have programmed the stage year with several different musical acts. Sophie Dance Studio leads off at noon with a dance performance followed by the beloved costume contest. Then, soul singer Mijan Owens will be performing at 1:30.“Owens frequently sings at Agape Church,” Cortier told the Buzz. “She has prepared a special 45-minute program for our event, that will include interacting with the children.”<figure><img src="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?type=thumbnail_580x000&amp;url=2zS3oj_0wCyS0IU00" alt="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=2zS3oj_0wCyS0IU00" width="861" height="1280" ></figure>Then at 3:00 pm, the Eight One Eights, a 70’s to 80’s cover band will perform. And, at 4 pm, Black Canyon Band will close out the stage.“We’re excited to have a full day of great family-friendly music for everyone to enjoy during the fair,” said Cortier.<figure><img src="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?type=thumbnail_580x000&amp;url=2z0YWj_0wCyS0IU00" alt="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=2z0YWj_0wCyS0IU00" width="1290" height="2000" ></figure>In addition, dozens of nonprofits and local businesses who are members of the Larchmont Boulevard Association, including this one, will line the boulevard with booths and tents.“We have 40 booths, including non-profits and LBA Businesses,” said Edie Frére, chair of the booth committee who is still taking reservations until next week. “We are excited to have many of our local schools and religious institutions participating.”Admission is free. Tickets will be $2 each and rides will be 2-6 tickets each, depending on the ride. Tickets can only be purchased at the fair.
