New M&M’s Release Has Fans Screaming ‘Oh Snap'

M&M’s are a popular addition to cookies, so many people add them to their ice cream that they’re a mainstay in McDonald’s McFlurries , and whenever a new flavor of the sweet treats gets announced, fans jump at the chance to try them out.

Now, the brand is joining its candies with cookies, ice cream and another iconic chocolate pairing—peanut butter.

Foodie Instagram Candyhunting shared on Oct. 17 that M&M’s is planning on rolling out a new ice cream cookie sandwich that is sure to delight, causing fans to react with glee.

“New Peanut Butter M&M's Ice Cream Sandwiches are headed to stores soon! They have peanut butter ice cream and sugar cookies with M&M's Minis,” shared the account, prompting fans to celebrate in the comments.

“Yum!!!” said one fan, while another replied “Oh snap 🔥.” Other fans immediately went to the logistics of procuring the ice cream sandwiches for themselves, writing “I’ve found the mint ones at Dollar25 Tree. Hope they have these too,” with another commenter crossing their fingers that the product will be available at Walmart.

Candyhunting shared that the item was featured “at the NACS Show last week.” According to the trade show’s website , the convention brings together convenience store buyers, sellers, and “23,500 industry stakeholders from around the world.”

While no official launch date has been announced, the food blogger said they “imagine they will debut during new ice cream season, which is January/February.”

Last month , M&M’s announced a seasonal holiday flavor that fans couldn’t wait to try.

Food bloggers shared that the new offering, Toasty Holiday Peanut M&M's, would “feature cinnamon, vanilla, spiced sugar, and caramel flavors,” prompting fans to declare that they were “so excited” to try them.
