PROVO, Utah — As if injury news on the Cowboy defense couldn’t get any worse: Trey Rucker will be absent during the Cowboys’ Friday night matchup with BYU. Rucker will miss the game with a hamstring injury, according to Robert Allen. A 6-foot, 210-pound redshirt senior safety, Rucker leads the Cowboys in tackles this season with 69. That comes a season after Rucker racked up 100 tackles last season. The Cowboys’ defense is already without Nick Martin and Collin Oliver because of injury.
