Upstate man arrested, charged in fatal Elbert Co. shooting

ELBERT COUNTY, Ga. (WSPA) — Officials with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation have arrested and charged a suspect who allegedly was involved in a shooting that killed a 15-year-old.

GBI said that Jarquavious Demetriun Scott, 18, of Anderson was arrested Friday.

Scott was charged with felony murder in the death of Bry’shun Treviyus O’Brian Jordan .

According to the Elbert County Sheriff’s Office, the shooting happened at the Seven Grand Nightclub on Evergreen Drive on October 12.

Seven other people were injured in the shooting.
