The heartrending social media post about Liam Payne's son's aspirations has resurfaced following the tragic death of the singer.

Liam Payne, the 31 year old former One Direction member, was confirmed dead after falling from the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was vacationing in the Argentine capital with his girlfriend Kate Cassidy when the incident occurred. Reports suggest that the singer fell from the hotel located in the posh neighborhood of Palermo. A body was later discovered in a courtyard within the hotel premises.

Following the news of his demise, a poignant social media post shared earlier this year on X/Twitter came back into light. The photo featured Payne's son with Girls Aloud singer Cheryl, gazing at a billboard above a VUE cinema in London's Leicester Square. The billboard displayed Payne in a promotional shoot for his then-latest single 'Teardrops". A proud Payne shared his son's reaction upon seeing the billboard."

"I want to be on a billboard one day daddy," read the post. Since its initial share on March 1, the post has been viewed over 3.3 million times, with many expressing their support for the late singer.

One commenter gushed: "Proud son. Hopefully one day his dreams [will] come true." Another joined in: "This is so cute. So proud of you Liam." And a third chimed in with: "You made it. Look how far you've done it. So ****ing proud of you."
