Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton did something to Saints fans that wasn't done very often when he was there

The Denver Broncos are one of the hottest teams in the league right now, and it's showing after their dominant win over the New Orleans Saints, where head coach Sean Payton went into his old stadium and sent the fans home disappointed.

No, literally, he sent them home very upset. Before the game, it was all sunshine and rainbows -- Sean Payton, the coach to win that franchise their only Super Bowl, was back in the building, so at that time it was all love. During the game, well, it was what you would expect. They were cheering on their team. After the game, well, they weren't there.

Sean Payton dominating the Saints did something to the fans that hasn't happened in at least eight years, according to one of the Saints players.

“I’ve been here 8 years and I’ve never seen the Dome clear out like that. And I can’t blame them. They’re fed up," Saints running back Alvin Kamara said after the game.

The Saints started the season with two of the biggest wins, and everyone thought they were legit. They have since lost five straight games, and that's something that you could assume the fan base is definitely tired of. And, Sean Payton, the man who has now beaten every team in the league, had a hand in doing.

It's funny how things change over time, isn't it?

The Broncos had their best offensive showing of the season, even better than their wins over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Las Vegas Raiders just a few weeks ago. They are now one of the hottest teams in the league, and who knows, they could only get better, as they face the Carolina Panthers next.
