<body><div><p>LITTLE RIVER-ACADEMY — The Franklin ground game was too much to handle for Little River-Academy in the Lions’ 51-15 win over the Bumblebees in District 11-3A-I action on Friday night.</p><p>Franklin (4-2, 2-0) ran for 433 yards on 45 carries. Jayden Jackson led the way with 157 yards on 11 carries. The senior had rushing touchdowns of 24 and 71 yards in the second quarter as the Lions raced out to a 28-0 lead at halftime.</p><p>Walker Anderson had a 3-yard touchdown run to give Franklin a 7-0 lead in the first quarter and added a 7-yard touchdown run in the third quarter as the Lions scored 42 unanswered points to start the game.</p><p>Franklin quarterback Noah Tart completed 3-of-7 passes for 68 yards and had touchdown runs of 18 and 15 yards. He threw a 42-yard touchdown pass to Landon LeBouf in the third quarter. LeBouf had two catches for 53 yards and was credited with a safety in the third quarter.</p><h2>People are also reading…</h2><p>Franklin’s defense held Academy to just 250 yards of total offense.</p><p>With the win, Franklin took sole possession of first place in the district standings.
