Another week of sports is wrapping up, and a bunch of top-notch athletes’ wishes are coming true.

First, our hosts Rodney Rikai and Samaria Terry discuss the struggling New York Jets, who are currently 2-4 and are finally getting a much-needed new receiver.

The first upheaval came with the removal of head coach Robert Saleh as Jeff Ulbrich stepped up. Now, veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers is getting wide receiver Davante Adams back.

Rikai thinks they can get to the top of the AFC with those few adjustments.

“Maybe the division because the division isn’t that great this year, so I think they maybe have a shot at catching Buffalo. But I think last week’s game was a tough L. They don’t have an offensive line, and the defensive front is weak as well,” Rikai says. “I don’t think it’s what the Jets needed to be the football team they came into the season desiring to be.”

As the Jets fight to prove their worth from the bottom of the division, the New York Liberty are fighting to win the franchise’s first-ever WNBA Championship.

The Finals against the Minnesota Lynx has been a wave of emotions, but the Liberty fought back from a deficit in Game 3. Breanna Stewart dropped a record-breaking 30 points, and Sabrina Ionescu scored a long three with just a second left on the clock.

If the Liberty win Friday night’s game in the Twin Cities, they’ll return home to Brooklyn with the trophy.

As the WNBA season winds down, the NBA season is ready to tip-off. Surprising everyone—especially Chicago Bulls fans— Lonzo Ball will return after a slew of nagging knee injuries.

“Honestly, I didn’t think he was going to get back,” Terry said. This is exactly what the Chicago Bulls need right now, so I’m hoping he can be back to what he was before because not only do the Bulls miss him, but I think the game right now misses a player like Lonzo Ball.”

Watch the latest episode of The Fumble above as the hosts also talk about the complexities of Tom Brady’s Fox Sports gig as he becomes a part owner of the Las Vegas Raiders.
