GOSHEN, Ind. – The Goshen Public Library hosted its inaugural art showcase on Friday night, offering local children an opportunity to display their creativity. The event, themed "Into the Woods," featured approximately 30 young artists, ranging in age from 2 to 14, who proudly presented their woodland-themed paintings of animals and nature scenes.

Library staff worked to create a special experience for the children, ensuring they felt celebrated for their artistic efforts. Grace Thomas, one of the organizers, emphasized the importance of giving kids a platform to publicly showcase their work. "We wanted to make the kids feel really special, like we rolled out the red carpet for them, and it's been really nice to see them look proud and get to display their art for the public," said Thomas.

The artwork varied in inspiration, with some pieces drawing from scenes in the Broadway musical Into the Woods, while others showcased more natural elements like leaves gently falling to the ground.

The showcase highlighted the children’s imagination and provided a memorable evening for both participants and attendees.
