Fans attending the soccer match should access Waldron Family Stadium from the university's entrance on Old Frederick Road.MOUNT UPDATEFacing Saint Joseph's last Tuesday, the Mountaineers fell in a 2-0 final. Ittetsu Hirai earned his first career start in goal and made five saves. Several members of the team made their first starts and appearances.The Mount looks to continue their fast start to MAAC play, winning two contests and netting a draw in the third. They sit atop the league standings in a tie with Iona and Siena. Maks Czyz has scored two of the team's conference goals, with Bobby Marsteller, Graham Dougals, Jack Kehoe, and Luciano Schiaffini also finding the back of the net.SCOUTING THE PURPLE EAGLESAlthough possessing a similar record overall to the Mountaineers, MAAC season has been less kind to Niagara, albeit with a challenging schedule. Their one draw came against Siena with a 3-3 score, and the Purple Eagles also faced Sacred Heart and Iona. Gerard Lopez Forner and Felix Kogler are the primary scorers, combining for nine of the team's 17 goals.THE ALL-TIME SERIESThe series is even through three matches, with each team getting a win along with a draw. Mount St. Mary's won a non-conference showing in 1998 and took the draw in 2022.
