Imagine you're about to sleep on a plane, and suddenly, you smell tuna, which reminds you of your friend's cat. The smell gets stronger, and you see someone next to you eating tuna. This happened to a TikToker named Ally (@allyjaksen). In her video, she showed a passenger eating tuna, and many people were horrified. She later mentioned that the man also touched an open scab and ordered a Bloody Mary, making her even more disgusted.

"Canned tuna on the plane is a major no-no," the video says. It mentions someone cursing loudly about someone opening a can of tuna on a plane.

Ally focuses on the traveler's tuna can at the end of the video. Based on the feedback from various users on the well-known social media platform, there were also others who shared the traveler's annoyance with choosing this snack for their journey.

A user commented in the video's text overlay: "THIS SHOULD BE A CRIME," and another user responded, "No fly list, immediately."

A recently opened can of moist tuna fish isn't something anyone would desire to have an odor of while they're airborne. However, there are other meals that are not recommended for consumption by the flying professionals at Travel + Leisure due to practical reasons.

Flight attendants recommend avoiding certain foods and drinks on planes due to health concerns. They suggest not drinking tap water or tea because airplane water tanks can be dirty, with some even containing harmful bacteria.

The magazine also advises against eating foods that can cause gas due to changes in air pressure during flights. Josephine Remo, a former flight attendant, mentions avoiding foods like onions, kale, beans, red meat, lentils, gluten, and broccoli because they can make you feel bloated.

If you're considering indulging in a drink while flying, steer clear of a Bloody Mary. This is because the tomato juice or mix often contains a high amount of sodium, which can cause additional bloating and dehydration during the flight.

This raises the question of why airlines still offer pretzels despite the sodium issue. It suggests that you might want to opt for milder options that won't upset your stomach.

Consider choosing grilled, toasted, or plain foods to avoid discomfort. This includes skipping the jalapeno queso or heavily salted blue cheese burger before your flight.
