New Pokémon HOME Update Let Trainers Nab Shiny Meloetta
The latest mobile gaming update to hit Pokémon HOME introduces trainers to the Pokémon Guidebook, which allows players to view basic information about Pokémon. Information such as creature Pokédex entries, types, sizes, forms, and much more can be found in the guidebook. This information is still available even if that particular Pokémon hasn’t been registered in the National Pokédex in Pokémon HOME.
On top of that, the Pokémon HOME update has given trainers the chance to snag the first ever (legally) available shiny mythical Meloetta. With the guidebook update, Special Pokémon can now be awarded to players as Mystery Gifts for completing specific Pokédexes, with the first titles to use the feature being Pokémon Scarlet and Violet . If fans can complete the Paldea Pokédex, Kitakami Pokédex, and Blueberry Pokédex in a version of either title, trainers can claim a Shiny Meloetta in the mobile device version of Pokémon HOME .
To claim this Pokémon, trainers need to complete all three of the Scarlet and Violet Pokédexes, then confirm your completion in the Games tab of Pokémon HOME. Fans who have done so already can still snag theirs, inking a Nintendo Online Account is crucial to be able to claim the creature. Only one Pokémon will be distributed per account, so fans should act accordingly when grabbing theirs. More info can be found on the official website.
