I am always looking for good cookie recipes , but I don't always have time to bake the recipes I find. That's why when I saw a viral stacked cookie hack involving pre-made Pillsbury cookie dough , I knew I had to try it! It's absolutely adorable, easy and delicious, and perfect for making cute cookies for the spooky season.

How to Make Stacked Pillsbury Halloween Cookies

The stacked cookies are made by stacking two different types of cookie dough on top of each other to create a layered look. Some recipes call for placing two types of raw dough (like chocolate chip and sugar cookie) on top of one another and baking them together. The one Jade shared has you bake the first cookie (she chose chocolate chip cookie dough) for around five minutes.

Once that's done, she places the sugar cookie dough on top of the gooey chocolate chip dough. The sugar cookies she chose had a pumpkin design, but you can pick whatever design you prefer.

She then bakes the cookies a little longer (10-13 minutes, she says) until the chocolate chip cookie is fully done. This will ensure that the sugar cookie is still a little soft in the middle. Once they are done, you have quite a treat! The combination of chocolate chip cookies and sugar cookies is a winner and these are really cute, too, so keep them in mind for any Halloween parties you're going to this season.
