It will open Wednesday from 1:00pm to 7:00pm and daily from Thursday, 8:00am to 7:00pm, providing federal, state, and local resources for residents seeking FEMA assistance due to Hurricane Helene.Debris RemovalHenderson County has contracted Southern Disaster Recovery for storm debris removal. Open burning of debris is discouraged. Storm debris pushed to the right of way of roads will be collected promptly. Residents are encouraged to separate household garbage, construction debris, vegetative debris, large appliances, electronics, and hazardous waste to expedite the removal process.
