Delaware State Police have identified the victim of a fatal two-car collision in Pike Creek on Thursday night.

The man, 82-year-old Frank Wolf of Newark, who was driving a Toyota Avalon south on Paper Mill Road, was in the left-turn lane at Polly Drummond Hill Road on Oct. 17, according to police.

The Toyota entered the intersection to make a left when a Nissan Rogue heading north on Paper Mill Road struck the front of the Toyota.

The Nissan, driven by a 25-year-old Newark woman, with a 3-year-old child in the car, then struck a curb, overturned and hit a traffic signal pole.

Wolf was taken to the hospital, where he died.

The two people in the Nissan were also taken to the hospital with non-life-threating injuries.

The crash is still under investigation.
