I still am surprised.When I opened up the list of the 20 Most Dangerous Cities in America updated for 2024, I expected to see an Illinois city named.It's not because Illinois is home to plenty of not-so-great places to live but because many cities, including Chicago and Rockford, are usually overlooked.Is it some of the time deserving? Sure. Is it all the time?
