Sandy Paws Rescue Inc., a foster-based dog rescue in Massachusetts, has recently introduced a sweet little dog named Avery who is searching for her forever family. Rescued from inadequate living conditions, Avery is described as being very sweet but a little shy at first. "Avery was confiscated from a poor living situation in outh Texas. While she is a very sweet dog, it takes her a minute to open up."

Avery, who weighs twenty-three pounds, is thought to be a terrier mix and gets along fantastic with other dogs. The local nonprofit rescue, Sandy Paws Rescue enthusiastically reports, "She is great with other dogs!" This suggests Avery would make an excellent addition to a household with existing pets or in a neighborhood with frequent dog encounters.

Beyond her sociable nature, Avery has endearing quirks that make her even more lovable. The rescue organization fondly notes that Avery has a particular affinity for being carried and picked up.

Sandy Paws Rescue, who stepped in to save Avery's life, is a nonprofit rescue in Massachusetts that works to save dogs and give them a second chance by finding them their forever home. Sandy Paws Rescue explains that they "rescue dogs from various shelters, cruelty situations, owner surrenders in Massachusetts, and strays from Texas, North Carolina, Georgia, and Florida." They don't have a shelter location therefore all of their dogs wait to find their forever homes while fostered in private foster homes or kennels.

Sandy Paws Rescue is a "100% volunteer-only operation," with most of their volunteers having full-time day jobs in addition to the work they do for the rescue. They explain "our only personal gain, is from seeing our dogs placed in wonderful homes." Sandy Paws Rescue operates and is only able to exist due to donations made to the nonprofit rescue. From transporting them from one state to another, to paying all medical bills, food, and more- running a dog rescue is expensive. "Our adoption fees do not cover the amount that we spend on our puppies/dogs to vet and transport them," explains Sandy Paws Rescue.

Those interested in adopting Avery will be happy to learn that she is up-to-date with her vaccinations and is spayed. Potential adopters should note that while Avery is affectionate, she may need time to adjust to new people. With her cuteness and sweet personality, she is sure to make a great addition to her forever family, now all she needs to do is find them!

Sandy Paws Rescue Inc. requires that anyone interested in adopting must submit an application to them. As a foster-based rescue based in Massachusetts, they don’t have a shelter location, and visits with dogs are by appointment only. Their dogs reside in private homes or kennels until adoption. She is a cutie. All these dogs are always back east, never on the West Coast.
