The hosts led in kills (61-55), assists (57-51), digs (76-71) and blocks (11-9), while the visitors held a 6-5 edge in aces.</li><li>Gammer added two aces, 19 digs and three blocks to her 26 kills, good for her 30th career double-double and sixth this season. Charli Crowson tied her career high with 34 assists and added 10 digs for her second career double-double. Erica Lowery collected 17 digs, while Carly O'Brien totaled 11 digs. Madison Blane posted a match-high seven blocks for Liberty.</li><li>Adriana Rhoda scored 18 kills to lead Middle Tennessee, while Kiera Booth totaled 11 kills, six digs and five blocks. Andi Spies contributed a match-high 43 assists, seven kills and 10 digs, while Laure Jansen collected a match-high 20 digs and Alivia Bronner totaled 14 digs.</li></ul><p><b>Turning Point</b></p><ul><li>After falling to Middle Tennessee 25-21 in set one, Liberty rebounded during the second set. Kate Gammer had an astounding 11 kills during the second set alone, including the set-clinching kill.</li><li>The Lady Flames took set three, 25-19, but trailed the fourth set, 22-20. Still trailing, 23-22, Liberty reeled off the final three points in a row, including a Blane/Gammer block followed by a Blane kill to end it.</li></ul><p><b>Quick Hits</b></p><ul><li>Middle Tennessee leads Liberty 4-2 in the all-time series, going 3-1 against the Lady Flames since Liberty joined Conference USA last year.</li><li>Liberty set a season high with 76 digs, getting 10 or more digs from four different players.</li><li>Liberty improves to 6-1 in Saturday matches this year.</li><li>Today was the first match this year in which two Lady Flames both had double-doubles in the same contest.</li><li>The Lady Flames are 8-11 in sets decided by two points this season. </li><li>Gammer's 11 kills in set two are the most kills in a single set by a Liberty player since Karyl Bacon's 11 kills during set one at Elon, Sept. 11, 2010.</li><li>Gammer's 26 kills for the match tied Anna Gragg's program record (Nov. 3, 2017 at Presbyterian) for kills in a four-set match under the current 25-point rally-scoring system.</li><li>Gammer also scored the most kills by a Liberty player in Liberty Arena history today.</li><li>Lowery, who has collected 10 or more digs in each of her last nine matches, needs 18 more digs to reach 1,000 career digs.</li><li>Blane needs 14 more blocks to become the seventh player in program history with 400 or more career blocks.</li></ul><p>The Lady Flames will play four matches in six days, starting with contests at New Mexico State, Friday and Saturday.
