Is 'Orange Cat Energy' Real?
Dave is a talker, as you can see, and his personality is-one-of-a-kind. Orange cats are said to be a little different, even friendlier than most other felines. But according to Felix Cat Insurance, the orange color of a cat's coat isn't correlated with their silly temperament. In fact, one survey dispels the theory entirely.
However, the stereotypes are there for a reason! Orange cats like Dave tend to be more chaotic, playful, and unpredictable. This might be because orange cats are almost always male, with three male orange cats born on average to every one female, so maybe it's because male orange cats more common. Their behaviors could be linked to having the male chromosomes, or as some studies argued, it's a question of nurture versus nature.
Orange cats sure do have a reputation for having "Orange Cat Energy," but even if that's not a scientifically real thing, at least they're entertaining!
