The game between the No. 1 Texas Longhorns and No. 5 Georgia Bulldogs was being billed as the best game in a loaded college football slate this weekend.

The early results didn't quite live up to the hype.

Both teams struggled mightily early on, turning the ball over four times in the first quarter. However, the Bulldogs were able to settle in and dominate in the first half, getting out to a 17-0 lead. Meanwhile, Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian made a coaching decision that is drawing quite a reaction among fans.

Sark decided to bench starting QB Quinn Ewers and put sophomore QB Arch Manning into the game.

Ewers completed just 6-of-12 passes for 17 yards and one interception, so it's not a huge surprise that Manning was put in to replace him. The reactions on social media were entertaining, though, to say the least.

In his four games of action while Ewers was injured earlier this year, Manning completed 70% of his passes, throwing for nine touchdowns and two interceptions. He also added 82 yards and three touchdowns on the ground.

The Longhorns are down 20 points in the first half with Manning coming in, so it will be a tall task for him to get Texas back in his game. However, if he is the elite quarterback that we have been led to believe, it's certainly possible that he will pull off the comeback.

They should left Manning in the game. Maybe we would have won.
